SKI PE GRANT

MMCF has been providing financial support to local schools to help offset the costs of Ski PE programs for many years. We feel that the Ski PE Grant is the perfect way to ensure that every child in the Eastern Sierra has the opportunity to experience the magic that happens with a day on the mountain.

The Ski PE Grant is offered one time per year and is designed to help local (Inyo and Mono counties) schools offset the costs to families for a Ski PE program. The Ski PE Grant helps to cover costs associated with travel, equipment, and program fees.

GRANT APPLICATION FAQ

  • The MMCF Ski PE Grant is only for schools located in Inyo and Mono counties.

  • Absolutely!

    Please be sure to have your non-profit determination letter available and/or a letter of support for your project/program from the parent organization.

  • Your application will be accessed by one or more of the following:

    The MMCF Education Liaison

    The MMCF Director

    The MMCF Board

  • Unfortunately we are only able to review applications during the established grant cycles.

  • Please see the Application Timeline section for detailed dates regarding application deadlines and funds disbursement. Each application will take a different amount of time to review.

    If we have any questions about your application or need additional information, we will contact you via the email address associated with your Smarter Select (our grant application platform) account.

    Please be sure to answer those questions/requests promptly to ensure your application stays in the stated disbursement timeline.

  • The Ski PE Grant application cycle is very competitive with many local schools applying and MMCF does have a set budget for support.

    Our staff recommends that you submit your best possible application and be detailed and thoughtful with your responses. Incomplete or “phoned in” applications are unlikely to be awarded.
