MMCF GRANT PROGRAM - FALL/WINTER RECAP

‘Tis the season for giving!

MMCF had an incredible season full of giving and providing opportunities to the youth of Mammoth Lakes and its surrounding communities along the Eastern Sierra Corridor.   Because of the generous, consistent giving of our donors, MMCF was able to fund above and beyond this past fall/winter grant season!

The MMCF Grant Program continues to grow, this past fall/winter cycle we received 43 applications from organizations throughout the Eastern Sierra that were looking for funding for their educational and athletic programs.

From that fall/winter cycle of applications, we have awarded $290,955 to educational and athletic programs that support the youth of the Eastern Sierra.

$192,000 of that total has gone directly to fund Ski PE for the children that live in the Eastern Sierra all the way from Lone Pine to Line Vining and Coleville, which is approximately $58,000 more than we funded last year for Ski PE programs!

Quick math with show you that in addition to Ski PE, we are also funding almost $100,000 in educational programs for children throughout the Eastern Sierra.

The Grant Program funding is in addition to the “Big Check” presented to Mammoth Unified School District (MUSD) in September for $125,000 plus the $44,500 given directly to our Senior Community Scholarships. Make sure to check out that MMCF News Story if you missed it earlier this year - READ MORE >>

We want to thank our donors and our MMCF family that has passionately supported youth programming throughout the Eastern Sierra, giving our youth opportunities to experience, learn and grow.  Happy Holidays!
