Event Check-In
Registration will be in the Mountainside Conference Center at Main Lodge, Mammoth Mountain starting at 12pm on Friday (April 3rd). Enter Main Lodge through “Main Entrance” under the clock tower and make your way to the third floor. Mammoth Invitational signs will help guide you once you are inside the door. Hours of registration are Friday 12pm-5pm and Saturday 8am-10am. Gala registration will be next to coat check just through the “Main Entrance”.

What should I wear?
Friday night's "Off to the Races" recommended attire is mountain casual.  Feel free to dress to impress, or dress it down if you'd like.  Derby wear; hats, bowties and bold colors will turn heads and make your mark on the evening.

Saturday evening's "Pony Up" Gala's recommended attire is Derby Cocktail.  One of the most iconic characteristics of the Kentucky Derby is the showcase of fine attire.  Bold spring colors, pastels, patterns, bow ties and suspenders will make the evening authentic.  And nothing says Derby more than finest, most ornate hats! Express your creativity and individuality with flowers or feather, bows and brims.  Your elegance or simplicity has no rules or limitations!

Auction is for Everyone!
We can’t wait to show you our auction items in person, but feel free to start bidding or planning out your plan of attack for Saturday Evening. Our auction has something for everyone and the online platform can be used by all (whether they are at the event or not). Encourage your friends who can’t attend the Invitational to check out the Auction Page so they can join in on the fun.

Don't Drink & Drive
If you and your party plan on drinking Friday or Saturday evenings, please plan on taking a taxi on us! We have arranged with Mammoth Taxi to provide transportation for event and Gala participants. Please call Mammoth Taxi at (760) 934-8294 to make a reservation now.

Sunday's Race
In the past, Sunday's race event has been open to the community, but this year, it is still considered part of our Team/Sponsor activities and limited to families of participants, guest, and volunteers. Please plan to come with your team and battle it out for ultimate Mammoth Invitational pride! Our format is as follows;

  • One run per person.
  • Dual format, although children are on one course and adults are on the other course
  • Live podium at the bottom (if you come down winning, you stand immediately on the podium and get a prize. For every racer that comes down and you remain on top of the podium, you get another prize. If you run first and win, you get the whole winner's circle package!
  • Times are handicapped by age, gender, and sliding device.
