SUPPORTING MMSST FAMILIES
For many years, MMCF has provided need-based scholarships to families with kids on the Mammoth Mountain Ski Snowboard Team (MMSST). We all know how expensive this sport can be and for many families the costs can be a barrier to entry for their kids to participate on the team.
We are honored to continue to provide three different scholarships to help families cover the types of expenses they encounter throughout the season - Team Fees, Competition Fees, and Camp Fees.
The need-based qualifier for these scholarships provides a sliding scale of financial support that is directly correlated to the families’ annual income.
Additionally, the student/athlete has to maintain a minimum GPA to qualify….because we all know that maintaining good grades is an important part of the student part of the student/athlete experience.
This year, we received a record number of applications and we are proud to announce that we were able to provide almost $150,000 in financial support to MMSST families.
