We kicked off the 22/23 season with photo day on Saturday, December 17.

We have had an amazing early season with plenty of snow, but it was a beautiful blue bird day and the kid‘s smiles shined just as brightly as the sun. Especially with COVID over the last couple years, it’s been difficult to gather everyone together for team pictures and we’re so glad we could make this happen!

As photographers, this day is extra special to us. We get to shoot races and competitions all season long, but photo day is a day where we all slow down and interact with the athletes face-to-face. Instead of their on snow skills, we get to see their personality as they joke and play with their friends in line. With help from all the coaches, we wrangled everyone together and got through pictures pretty quickly so everyone could get back to riding.

Thanks to everyone for your time and cooperation! We got through it without a hitch and only a few snowball fights.

Everyone’s photos will be up in the MMCF SmugMug page by Christmas.

If you missed photo day, we will be doing a make up day in January, exact date TBD.
