2024 MAMMOTH INVITATIONAL RECAP

This year’s Mammoth Invitational, Down the Rabbit Hole, was hosted the weekend of April 5-7. The whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme was weaved throughout the five key events over the weekend.

We started out Friday with the Mad Hatter’s Kick-off Tea Party where the crowds met our Olympic/National Pro skiers and snowboarders who were coaches for participating teams for the On-hill competitions the following morning.

Saturday saw eleven teams and their coaches set off on a themed scavenger hunt that took them across Mammoth Mountain while they competed in games like “Ski with Tea”, “You’re Late!” Slalom Race, Off with Their Heads” Croquet, and more. The On-hill competition awards ceremony took place during lunch with nonsensical trophies and awards.

The culmination of the weekend was Saturday evening at Main Lodge with the Cheshire Cat’s Silent Auction and the Queen’s Court Gala attended by over 300 guests.

Among all the costumes, treats and fun of the weekend, was the bigger picture of raising funds for the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation (MMCF).  Our charity provides financial aid to support academics, athletics, and arts for school children in Mammoth and the surrounding communities. This year, we are expanding our mission with funds raised over the weekend to better serve our community.
